It’s not the first time that specs and all expected features of a smartphone are revealed ahead of its launch event. Samsung has announced that the next iteration of its Note line of smartphones will be launched on 7th August 2019. Galaxy Note series is one of the most popular smartphones that Samsung makes. The market for Galaxy Note 10 has already been hyped up. There were numerous leaks about the Note 10 regarding its design and specs.
According to latest updates, Galaxy Note 10 specs have been confirmed for both US and Indian market. Samsung will launch two Galaxy Note 10 models this year: Regular Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. Both will have a similar design but will differ in terms of processor and screen size.
Both Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ will have a punch-hole camera at the center of the display where usually dewdrop type notch is. The front camera on both phones will be a 10MP shooter with support for 4K recording at 30FPS.
Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ will come with triple camera setup at the back with 12MP main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide camera and 12MP camera with 2x optical zoom. Galaxy Note 10+ however, as an extra ace up its sleeves. It will come with a ToF (Time of Flight Sensor) which is exclusive to Note 10+. A time of flight sensor emits infrared light that is usually invisible to the human eye to determine the depth of field information. It emits the light and waits for it to return then and uses that information to understand the depth of a subject. A ToF sensor can help you take better bokeh shots. It can also track objects, do 3D mapping of the view and improve AR (Augmented Reality) experience.
US market will have Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and 855+ respectively which comes coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. Snapdragon 855+ has around 4% better CPU performance and 15% better GPU performance than regular 855 SoC. Samsung will launch Note 10 in India with its in house manufactured Exynos 9825 chipset. Note 10 won’t support 5G networks as of now.
Galaxy Note 10 won’t have a high refresh rate display which will be a huge miss. Note 10 will come with 6.3-inch AMOLED display while Note 10+ will come with 6.5-inch AMOLED display both running at 60Hz refresh rate. So a more fluid and smooth display will be missed in the high-end Galaxy Note 10 series.
Now only the price reveal is left for which we will have to wait for the launch event which is just in a few days from now. The price in India for Galaxy Note 10 should start around INR 65K with top spec’d variant touching the INR 1 lakh mark.
