Realme fans in India have been eagerly waiting for the launch of Realme X2 Pro, the first high-end flagship smartphone from Chinese OEM, Realme. This latest addition from the Shenzhen-based company grabbed attention due to its mind-blowing features that could give a tough competition to Redmi K20 Pro and OnePlus 7T.
Realme X2 Pro is considered one of the cheapest Snapdragon 855+ chipset-based phones in the market. It features a 90Hz display just like OnePlus 7T, 64MP quad-camera setup, and 50W Super VOOC fast charging technology that has ever launched in any Realme devices. The fast charger is expected to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 35 minutes.
Realme X2 Pro has already been launched in China and Europe in mid-October. As per Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth, the phone is expected to see the daylight in India in December when the company also plans to launch Realme XT 730G, which is a similar phone like Realme XT but will be based on Snapdragon 730 SoC and feature 30W VOOC fast charging.
As far as pricing is confirmed, nothing is official as of yet. Taking the leads from the China launch, we expect Realme X2 Pro to be priced in the range of Rs. 26,000–Rs. 32,000. The phone is priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 26,100) for the base model, which has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The other two variants, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, are priced at CNY 2,799 (~Rs. 28,100) and CNY 3,199 (~Rs. 32,200), respectively.
Realme was a subsidiary of Guangdong-based OPPO. But the company was separated from its parent company in 2018.
