In September, OnePlus introduced its line of Android-powered QLED 4K TVs. The first update for the same came in the form of new lighting effects for the soundbar. The same update also fixed some bugs related to connectivity and HD resolution. Notably, OnePlus had promised that the TV would support all the leading web streaming services. Fulfilling the much-awaited desire of its customers, OnePlus has finally enabled the OnePlus TV with the Netflix app. Existing users can now assess the app on their TV just by downloading the latest upgrade.
The latest update has arrived for the OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro. If you also own one of those TV sets, then all you have to do is to update your app. Once you have done it, you can enjoy your favourite movies and shows on the big screen. Along with the Netflix support, the new update is bringing few other upgrades too. Among those, the optimized volume-controls, remote low-battery and charging notification on TV, and added setting for directly entering the recent ‘Input Source’ are common ones.
In addition to the above-stated upgrade, OnePlus has also released new Netflix remote for its TV. The remote will complement the recently added update. The new remote is a sleek one with all black finish and has a dedicated Netflix button to make it easy for the users to switch between TV mode and Netflix mode. OnePlus is giving away the new remote free of cost to the existing and new OnePlus TV customers, who register their serial number on the OnePlus website. After registering on the OnePlus site, the users will receive an invitation code. The users can redeem the invitation code within a 45-day window to get their Netflix remote free of cost.
OnePlus never fails to surprise and reward its customers, and the latest update is yet another pleasant surprise by the Chinese tech-giant.
