Ongoing tensions between India and China on the borders has made people of India furious. As tensions between the nations continue to rise, the Government of India Bans TikTok and 59 other applications that are owned by Chinese companies or are connected to China in any way. Read on for details.

Due to current situations on the borders, different business bodies of India have decided to boycott Chinese products. However, Chinese apps still hold popularity among Indians as most people are not aware of the origin country of an app.

Chinese apps have been accused of spying and stealing user data in countries like the US and India but strict actions were still not considered, maybe due to lack of evidence. However, recently, Indian Intelligence Agencies had warned about potentially harmful Chinese apps that are popular in India. Many people were demanding ban on PUBG as well but it is not a clearly Chinese app.

Today, the Government of India announced a ban on 59 Chinese applications. Here is the list of all 59 applications are banned by the Indian Government.
