Genshin Impact V1.4 Leaks
Genshin Impact 1.4 Leaks Reddit: New Characters
Reddit user Drakolla911 shared some images of the eight upcoming characters which they claim were data-mined from Genshin Impact’s closed beta test server files. These eight leaked characters appear to be primarily from Inazuma region, showcasing elements of traditional Japanese fashion.
A few outfits feature small sleeve slits, similar to kariginu and suikan, popular attire from the Heian period. Similarly, those characters that don’t explicitly showcase Japanese fashion identities are hailed from the more familiar settings of Liyue and Mondstadt.
From left to right on the top row:
- Hu Tao – Zhongli’s boss at the funeral parlor, who doesn’t get along with Qiqi. She’s a Pyro Polearm user from Liyue.
- Mimi – A Hydro Catalyst from Inazuma. She has a circular vision on her belt in keeping with the region’s style.
- Yunjin – A Geo Polearm user from Liyue.
- Yaoyao – She’s the first playable Dendro character and a magic-user from Liyue. She studied under the same master as Xiangling and recently began to work under Ganyu.
A demo gameplay of Hu Tao also surfaced recently, showing her skills inside the game.
From left to right on the bottom row:
- Sayu – An Anemo Claymore user from Inazuma.
- Kazuha – A Anemo Sword user from Inazuma.
- Rosaria – A Cyro Polearm user from Mondstadt.
- Shenli – A Cyro Claymore user from Liyue.
Some of these characters find mention officially from miHoyo.
Yaoyao, for example, previously featured in key art for Genshin Impact. She seems to be friends with Qiqi, the zombie character from Liyue. Rosaria featured in the Dragonspine story missions as a nun from the Church. It’s also declared that she is going to arrive in version 1.4.
In addition to the eight pictured above, there’s another character named Tohama, who will allegedly be a Pyro Polearm user.
Genshin Impact 1.4 Events
There are some events that will happen in the Genshin Impact v1.4 update. Some of them are
Windbloom Festival
This event has three stages that must be completed to finish it, and they revolve around mini-games.
Fall Guys-type Mini Games
This will either be a small event or maybe even part of the events below. Where each round a wheel will spin to choose the game that will be played. The games will involve obstacle courses, dodging projectiles, and walking in the dark, a memory floor game you have to memorize.
After the three rounds are over, the scores will be turned into buffs, where you have to fight a Pyro Regisvine. The higher your score, the easier this fight will become.
Bullseye Ballon
The first mini-game is called Bullseye Balloons. In this mini-game, you have to pop the correct balloons within the time limit. Don’t worry! Uou do not need to have a high-level Bow character for this mini-game. You can also compete with others in Co-Op.
Music Notes
In this mini-game, we don’t have many details so far, but it might be a sort of rhythm memory game, as you need to hit the music notes. The mini-game sounds interesting even though there’s not a lot of info
Cliff Diving
This mini-game involves diving off of cliffs and into rings that you have to glide into. You’ll have to use a combination of both gliding and falling to get all of the rings on your journey down.
Genshin Impact v1.4 Features
Condensed Resin
Condensed Resin is now getting an increase, and you will be able to hold a total of five of them. This is great for players who do not have the time to play daily. This means they can store up more of their resin and use it to get double rewards, to cut down on a lot of the grind.
Lower World Level
This is an interesting feature that in 1.4, you may be able to lower the World Level. This will help you find more common materials when fighting monsters, and they will be an awful lot easier to boot.
This will be incredibly handy for wanting to level new characters, or even getting mid-tier materials and then using Alchemy to turn them into the highest-tier possible.
However, this only lasts for 24 hours; then it will return to normal. We do not have any idea; if there is a limit on how many times you can do this or if there will be a cost to doing this.
Genshin Impact V1.4 Update: Unknown Content
New Gadgets
New Gadgets are always bundled in every update that miHoYo creates. We’ve already had an assortment of them, from Geo/Anemo-Resonance Stones to a Portable Cooking Pot, to a Warming Bottle. We have no idea what the new updates will entail, but they are generally catered to what the update is about.
If the Chasm is correct, then we suspect to see some Geo gadgets being made available. Or at least some quality of life gadgets.
Feeding Artifacts
You’ll be able to feed new materials into Artifacts. This is a new leaked feature that we found to be available in version 1.4 update.
We are not sure if this means the new materials are there to level them up; Or the materials are there to make them stronger. We anticipate if this is true, then Artifacts will not be the only thing that these new materials will be able to go into; weapons will also be upgraded in this way.
Artifact Level Up
It seems according to leakers, materials are coming to 1.4 that can level up your artifacts. These are likely to come in four different types,
- Sanctifying Droplet— One Star – Ascends up an Artifact by One Phase
- Sanctifying Water—Two Star – Ascends an Artifact by Two Phases
- Sanctifying Spring— Three Star – Ascends an Artifact by Three Phases
- Sanctifying Essence— Four Star – Ascends an Artifact by Four Phase
According to Genshin Impact 1.4 leaks Nep Nep, it seems that these will be rewards from a Battle Tendency challenge
Oceacid Event
A new event revolved around the Elite boss Oceanic may come to 1.4 update. This is rumored to be like the Hypostatic Symphony event, where you could have an assortment of buffs or debuffs, which would affect your overall score. Then if you scored high enough, you could earn rewards.
We know that Oceanid is not a well-loved boss, so it will be interesting how fans react to this one.
With this event, you must find Pure Water Hearts and then use the hearts you have gathered to face against an empowered Oceanid… However, if you manage to defeat the boss and score high enough, you might walk away with a new pet.
And there is a picture from Nep Nep of the pet you can win from this event.
Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game developed and launched by miHoYo. It features a fantasy-based game, revolving on a 3rd person action-based battle system. The game uses elemental magic and character switching inside the game. It relies on gacha game monetization to help you expand your roster of fighters and weapons.

New Update of Genshin Impact 1.4
A release of a new character is probably one of the most anticipated events a casual Genshin Impact player is looking.
But, once a new five-star character arrives, the banner stays in the game for 10-15 days, and if you miss your chance of acquiring it, it is highly unlikely that you’ll be able to acquire that one anytime soon.
The best thing about this official announcement picture is that it features two five-star characters – Jean and Venti.
Fans have immediately started guessing that both of the characters will have their separate banner in the following update.
Another leaker called zluet revealed an interesting leak two weeks ago predicting a Venti re-run.
Venti’s “Ballad in Goblets” banner was the first banner introduced into the game.
And considering that the player-base wasn’t as big back then, it won’t come as a surprise that this becomes the first five-star character to get an exclusive character banner re-run.
If the rumors are turned out to be true, there are a variety of four-star characters that could make a company on the banner and according to some anonymous sources, here are our predictions:
- Venti
- Razor – had not been a part of a banner since Zhongli
- Sucrose – not part of a banner since Albedo. She shares the same talent ascension materials as Venti
- Noelle – not featured on a banner since Ganyu
