Will there be Attack on Titan Season 5?

There is no official announcement on the fate of the most popular anime series of 2021. However, in all the promotions done, MAPPA had claimed AOT Season 4 as the final season. Hence, AOT Season 5 is completely ruled out.

For any anime to get renewed, two factors are important. Its popularity index and source material. As far as AOT is source material is concerned, the series has not completely covered the plotline. The manga by the same name is also coming to an end on 9th April with the release of Chapter 139.

Few chapters are pending to be directed. We can safely assume that there can be alternatives to Season 4 Part 2 or even an anime movie. Fans are speculating that there is sufficient material for Attack on Titan making a comeback for another cour of episodes. Titled ‘Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 2’ it can debut sometime later in the second quarter of 2022.

Will there be an Attack on Titan: The Final Movie?

Looking at the popularity the AOT anime series enjoys, everyone is hopeful MAPPA will not disappoint its fans. If “Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 2” will not feasible, we can expect the final chapters of the manga to be made into a movie. The makers will definitely be keeping the success numbers of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie on watch.

We will have to wait for some more time to see which alternative makers take. Whether they would like to renew the series with another season or come back with a cour or even an AOT Final movie.

In the meantime, enjoy the finale and share with us your experiences!
