PS5 Games Reveal

In yesterday’s live stream, Sony showed gameplay from some of the games coming to the console and announced a couple of new games as well.

The event kicked off with the gameplay from Spider-Man Miles Morales. It took us to the actual gameplay as Spider-Man takes on some villains at the Braithwaite Bridge.

The next big announcement was about Final Fantasy XVI. The latest entry in the popular RPG series from Square Enix looked brilliant, and it was not only the visuals that blew our minds. The trailer did not reveal the launch date for the game, but we will hear more about the game in 2021.

Sony also showcased the story of the upcoming Resident Evil Village at PS5 launch event. The first-person shooter from Capcom follows the events after Resident Evil VII. There was not much in terms of gameplay in this new trailer, but it gives some strong Resident Evil 4 vibes. The new Resident Evil will come out in 2021.

We also got a look at a Harry Potter RPG game set in the late 1800s. By the looks of the trailer, it would be a full-blown RPG.

At the end of the event, Sony gave a teaser to the upcoming project from Santa Monica Studio. The next God of War game is called Ragnarok and will come out on consoles in 2021. God of War: Ragnarök is a sequel to 2018’s God to War, exclusive to PS4.

Apart from these titles, the Sony event showcased games such as Devil May Cry 5, Monster Hunter World, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Death Loop, Oddsworld, Fortnite, Demon’s Souls, and more.

In the 40 minutes long event, Sony also introduced the PlayStation Plus collection that lets users play some iconic PS4 games on their PS5. In the end, it could be easily concluded, Sony has achieved its objective to dominate. Be it specifications, gaming, price, or performance PlayStation 5 has beaten Xbox Series X & Series S.
