Redmi K30 4G was released in December 2019 specifically for China market followed by its global version POCO X2 in February 2020. Its popularity in the budget segment continues to hold ground even after 2 years of its release. At the time of launch, it was powered by SD 730G chipset running on Android 10. Later on, it received an Android 11 MIUI 12 custom skin from Xiaomi.
The reports coming in suggest that POCO X2’s China variant Redmi K30 4G is up for Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 beta stable update. The latest update changelog reads a host of improvements and new features. Some noticeable ones and wished for include 20 times more rendering power, Better performance than the last update, lighter, faster, and more durable MIUI.
Redmi K30 4G China variant has started receiving the new beta build V12.5.1.0.RGHCNXM via OTA notifications. It is 3.2GB in size and appears to be stable enough till now!
MIUI 12.5 stable beta update for Redmi K30 4G does not have any Google services or apps on it. However, the global variant Poco X2 is likely to get a complete package in the coming weeks. There is no information on the timeline by when POCO X2 will receive MIUI 12.5 update, but it is likely to be soon.

Xiaomi would like to complete pending MIUI 12.5 stable rollouts on all its eligible devices since work on MIUI 13 has been kicked off. POCO X2 is also one of the eligible devices to receive the next major OS update – MIUI 13 likely to be unveiled in the coming days.
