It is the turn of three of the bestsellers from Samsung to receive Android 11 based One UI 3.0 custom update. Keeping its entry-level as well as mid-range segment phones’ software up to date, Samsung is releasing the latest January Android security update too. The ones to receive are Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A71 5G, and Galaxy M30s smartphones.
Samsung had earlier rolled out an attractive and feature-rich One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 to Samsung’s best phones of 2020 – 4G version of the Galaxy A51. Now the Galaxy A51 5G is getting ready to receive the OTA.
The devices will be receiving One UI 3.0 update build versioned M307FXXU4CUAG. The size of the rollout is 1.91GB approx. It is advised to download on an active WiFi since the download is huge. Apart from the Android update, the firmware update also brings January 2021 Android security update.
Samsung Galaxy M30s was launched with Android 9 Pie OS and is now getting ready to receive Android 11 update. It will bring customized rich features including like chat bubbles, sorting of notifications on the basis of conversations, a number of security enhancements!
It has to be kept in mind that all features of One UI 3.0 might not get implemented in the budget segment phones. There are bound to be few hardware constraints that will put limitations on incorporating promised features that come with the latest firmware.
To install the update, check for any notification received and follow the steps thereafter. Else, you can head straight to Settings. Tap onto the option Software update and hit Download and install.
The rollout traditionally speaking is being done in a phased manner. Indian region devices have confirmed receiving the One UI 3.0 update. The other regions will be receiving in the coming days.
While its competitors are struggling to keep its models up to date with Android 11 versions, Samsung has kept its promise. In fact, it is a month ahead of the promised Samsung One UI 3.0 rollout. The next in line to receive the Android 11 update will be The Galaxy M51, A50, A21s, A31, A70, A80, A71, Tab S6, and Tab S6 Lite.
