The makers of My Hero Academia have come out with exciting news about their next. It is all set to roll out its fifth season this year. Anime lovers across the globe have been eagerly waiting for the international release of this manga series since the airing of the final episode of season 4. My Hero Academia Season 5 Official Trailer
In the first week of October 2020, makers officially announced the renewal of the 5th season of MHA. The first My Hero Academia Season 5 trailer was also unveiled. Along with a peep into the pitch idea came the release timeline. The upcoming season was announced to arrive sometime in Spring 2021.
On 27th February, TOHO Animation revealed the official promotional trailer of My Hero Academia. The theme song “No.1.” in the trailer is by the band DISH. It accentuates the brewing rivalry between the students of class 1A and 1B. One can hear a yelling screech from one student, maybe Izuku is the reason behind it.
The show is known for releasing only one season per year with April as their favorite month. Season 4 was an exception to get the October release. In spite of COVID’s enforced delays, the industry expects an April release window coinciding with the earlier release pattern.
It is rumored that season 5 will be split-cour. In other words, the total My Hero Academia Season 5 episodes will be split into two. Traditionally speaking there are 10 to 13 episodes per cour. The second half might premiere in Autumn 2021.

MHA Season 5 release date has been set for Saturday, 27th March 2021. It will be released to Japanese anime fans on Yomiuri TV / NTV 29 stations. My Hero Academia Season 4 episodes will be broadcast every Saturday evening at 5:30 PM JST. The makers have yet not confirmed the number of episodes.
Dubbed versions are likely to come to streaming platforms such as Funimation, Crunchyroll, Hulu, VRV, and Netflix. My Hero Academia Season 5 English dub on FUNimation Now is speculated to be a simuldub season, somewhat similar to the previous seasons.

Boku No Hero Academia Season 5 Plot Synopsis
The story of My Hero Academia started off by narrating the story of Izuku Midoriya. He is a boy born without superpowers, in a world where most humans are been born or develop superpowers by the age of four.
Izuku is bullied for being born without any power. Yet, he dreams of being a superhero, even after getting bullied by his closest friend, Katsuki Bakugo. However, his wishes come true when he meets All-Might. All-Might is Japan’s greatest hero. He passes down his powers to Izuku after noticing his potential.
All-Might enrolls him in the U.A. High School, for training him to become a Hero. The All-Might wishes Izuku to carry out his legacy by becoming his successor. In other words, superpowers are also known as Quirks in the My Hero Academia universe. There are infinite kinds of Quirks in this universe. No two individuals appear to possess the same superpowers.
What can fans expect from My Hero Academia Season 5?
In addition to the main plot, Boku No Hero Academia Season 5 promises greater battles between the hero classes at U.A. It will now focus more on the high school and its students, shining more of a spotlight on category 1-B.
Midoriya, who took the Hero name Deku, can unravel the meaning of his mysterious dream in season 5. This dream aired in the post-credit scene of the last episode in MHA Season 4. Hence, when Midoriya finds out what his dream means, he may be able to understand and control his Quirk better.
Season 5 ensures to the watchers that the entertainment it provides gets larger, making them enjoy every single episode. Thankfully, the My Hero Academia manga series provides enough story for a turnaround by Studio Bones.
