Vivo S1 and S1 Pro to Get The Funtouch OS 10 Update Soon

It has been almost six months since Vivo has developed Funtouch OS 10. With the X30 series launch, Funtouch OS would update to Jovi OS. This planned was suspended. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the rolling out of Funtouch OS 10 to newer devices was also stopped for the time being. But now, VIVO is planning to restart updating some devices, beginning with the S1 and S1 Pro.

Funtouch OS 10 update is a big one. It is going to bring many new features to your device. As the name suggests, this Operating System is going to be based on Android 10. It will bring the standard Android 20 features like the dark mode, notification changes, etc. Additionally, it is reported that you will get a minimalist design, some new shortcuts, and animations as well. Furthermore, the Funtouch OS 10 update will also introduce some new icons, edge light designs, and live wallpapers.

For the live wallpapers, we are expecting something similar to Xiaomi’s Super Wallpapers. Adding to the newcomers’ list, App Sharing will also make an appearance.

Vivo S1 Pro

This will make you free from any other third-party applications for sharing apps from one device to another. Further, a part of the Jovi OS plan, a new virtual assistant, JOVI assistant, is likely to be featured in this update.

There are a lot of new features coming to Vivo devices with this update. But now, the thing to think of is the date. VIVO has been on a halt on any updates for quite a while now, and this has had a negative impact. Users are demanding updates, and VIVO will now finally work on that.

It is being speculated that VIVO S1 and S1 Pro are one of the first ones to receive this update. These two devices will get the Funtouch OS 10 update in June. There are official dates for the same, but it will likely roll out in the third week of June.
