Amazon Prime brings to you, your regular dose of entertainment, with new movies and TV shows being added every month. So, in case you were craving for some emotional stimulation with the possibility of pondering on the inevitability of life, Amazon Prime Video will stream a special movie.

“To conquer death, you only have to die. You only have to die.” – This line from the song Poor Jerusalem from the movie Jesus Christ Superstar resonates perfectly with the life and work of the young Indian author and motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary, who passed away at the tender age of eighteen. The Sky is Pink is a 2019 biographical film portraying her parent’s determination to fight all obstacles and every crisis that lay in front of her till the time she was alive.

The Sky is Pink will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 11 December 2019. Narrated from the perspective of Aisha Chaudhary (Zaira Wasim), it tells the story of the internal conflicts faced by her parents, Aditi (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and Niren (Farhan Akhtar) on the decision of giving birth to a child due to clinical complications and upon deciding, their resolve to support their daughter who had been diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening disorder upon birth. It is a beautiful and emotionally stimulating story which focuses on the beauty of a parent-child relationship and the internal struggles of facing the fact that their child won’t live long. Directed by Shonali Bose, is the prevailing theme of the movie is the inevitability of life in the face of inevitable death.
