After getting teased with a buggy MIUI 12 update on Poco F1, the wait for a stable rollout has turned out to be endless. Pocophone F1 was launched in August 2018, but its popularity has held ground even after 2 years of its release. It has already received an Android 10 update with MIUI 11 on top. At the time of launch, it ran on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. MIUI 12 update on Poco F1 will be the major update supported by Xiaomi.

For users receiving a stable MIUI 12 update on Poco F1 will be an emotional journey. They have gone through obvious delays, unstable rollouts, critical issues, and build recall. It all started in August 2020 when the Pocofone F1 received the Mi Pilot program with many features such as MIUI 12 wallpaper missing.

Later on few more versions were released which were too buggy, slow, and had to be recalled. Many reported that they did not receive MIUI 12 update on Pocofone F1. Even the re-released MIUI 12 update for Pocofone F1 had run into issues due to which there was a significant setback to a stable roll out of the Fastboot ROM.

Recently there were reports that the OEM was planning to complete pending MIUI 12 stable rollouts on all its eligible by October end since work on MIUI 13 has been kicked off. It seems the company is on target. Many Poco F1 users have reported receiving the new build 12.0.2.0.QEJMIXM via OTA notifications. It is 790 MB in size and appears to be stable enough till now!
