After almost a decade, on 9th November, Netflix announced the debut of Tiger & Bunny 2 anime. The sequel has been renewed after Tiger & Bunny 1 premiere in 2011. It is one such example of anime that has lived in the hearts of fans. The news of a sequel is welcomed after several years of wait. The anime is a Japanese Netflix Original anime series produced by the anime studio Sunrise. During the Netflix Festival Japan 2021 event, the renewal of Tiger & Bunny 2 was announced planned for April 2022 premiere.
On 12th March, the franchise officially tweeted the “TIGER & BUNNY 2” Release date. It is happening on Friday, April 8, 2022. It also confirmed that exclusive worldwide distribution has begun as Netflix series. It will stream across 38 countries around the world, including the United States, UK, Australia, and Canada.

The makers also revealed a promotional clip introducing the fans to the new protagonists of the anime series, as well as the opening theme composed by Unison Square Garden. The promotional video with English subs gives a peek into the new cast members and Unison Square Garden’s OT song “kaleido proud fiesta.”
The ending theme song is planned by a debutant Ano with the song “Aida” for Tiger & Bunny 2 Part 1.

Tiger & Bunny 2 release will happen globally via streaming on Netflix only. It has also been confirmed that the Tiger & Bunny Season 2 will have 25 episodes. It will be split into 2 cours. The first 13 episodes of Tiger & Bunny 2 will be marked as “Tiger & Bunny 2 Part 1” and will drop in April. Tiger & Bunny 2 Part 2 will have the remaining 12 that will arrive later.

The official Twitter account of Tiger & Bunny, the original anime franchise produced by studio Sunrise, has recently revealed a new character visual for the Tiger & Bunny Season 2 of the animated series. Mitsuko Kase (Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory) will direct the series, Masafuni Nishida will again take care of the music sector and Masakazu Katsura will return in charge of the character design.
New cast members announced include Nobunaga Shimazaki, Shoya Chiba and Tomori Kusunoki as Thomas, Mr Black and the Magic Cat. The staff at Bandai Namco Pictures include Atsuko Kase as director and Masafumi Nishida as script supervisor.
The 2011 animated series brings the story of the heroes for hire to life. They are extremely powerful beings known as NEXT who wear logos and sponsors as they fight crime. Tiger & Bunny Season 2 has renewed the following characters:

- Masakazu Morita: Barnaby Brooks Jr.
- Minako Kotobuki: Karina Lyle/Blue Rose.

Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website has also revealed that a manga adaptation titled Tiger & Bunny 2 The Comic will also make a debut on 15th April. Writer Erika Yoshida and artist Hiroshi Ueda will team once again to produce the manga.
