The game developer confirmed the leaks regarding FarCry 6, gave us the release date for Watch Dogs: Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It also announced the release date for the F2P 2D game Brawlhalla for mobile phones. Additionally, Ubisoft also confirmed its upcoming Battle Royale game, Hyper Scape.
One of the major highlights of Ubisoft Forward was the giveaway of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2. Initially, the company was offering the game to people who attended the Ubisoft Forward event, but now anyone can get Watch Dogs 2 for free.
How to Get Watch Dogs 2 for Free?
As mentioned earlier, anyone can obtain a free copy of Watch Dogs 2 for free irrespective of their participation in Ubisoft Forward. To get the game, you need to visit the registration page and log in to your Uplay account. Open Uplay on your PC, and you will see the game has been added to your account. You can also create a new account (if you haven’t got a Uplay account) and get the game.

Watch Dogs: Legion
In the third installment of Watch Dogs, Ubisoft is going to take the players to London. What makes this new Watch Dogs interesting is that a player can be anyone in the busy English capital. It means you could be a secret agent working for her majesty, or become a Chelsea FC supporter, and even an old lady. Ubisoft says the choice is yours.
The premise of Watch Dogs: Legion is that some criminals took control of London after a series of bombings. However, everyone is suspecting an underground resistance for these bombings. The underground resistance, DedSec, is trying to free the city from the clutches of the criminals. You are a member of DedSec, and your mission is to unmask the real terrorists and save the city.
The game is set to come out in October on PS4, PC, Xbox One and Stadia. You can buy the game on PC through Epic or Uplay (the game will also be available on Uplay+ subscription). Watch Dogs: Legion will also be available on the next-gen consoles on their launch. Players who buy the game for PS4 and Xbox One will get it for the next-gen consoles if they upgrade.
The game would cost around ₹3,999 on consoles and ₹3,299 on PC.
After the recent leaks regarding its upcoming FPS game, Ubisoft decided to reveal FarCry 6. The European game developer confirmed that Giancarlo Esposito (from Breaking Bad) will play the role of President Anton Castillo. Castillo is the dictator of Yara, the island on which FarCry 6 takes place. The player will control Dani Rojas as he or she helps the islanders overthrow Castillo and free themselves of the oppression. Castillo and his son Diego (who is supposed to replace Castillo as the dictator) are the main villains of the game.
Ubisoft confirmed that the game would be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X from 18th February 2021. Stadia users will also get FarCry 6. The game will cost ₹4399 on consoles, and PC gamers could get if for ₹3299 on Epic. Uplay+ subscribers would also get access to the game.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
After the disappointing gameplay reveals at the Xbox event and numerous gameplay leaks, Ubisoft officially revealed the gameplay of its next Assassin’s Creed game. In the latest gameplay demonstration, Ubisoft showed that the players could select the gender of the protagonist, Eivor. Like a true RPG title, your actions and dialogue choices would affect the world around you. The player gets an option to wield two weapons at a time, and everyone’s favorite Hidden Blade makes a return to the franchise.
Ubisoft is set to release Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in November 2020. The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia in November. It will also come to next-gen consoles when they come out, and players who are planning to replace their current-gen consoles will get the game for free on next-gen consoles if they buy it for their current consoles. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will cost around ₹3999 on consoles and ₹3299 on PC through Epic Store.
Other Titles Announced By Ubisoft
In the Ubisoft Forward event, Ubisoft also revealed some other games. First of all, Ubisoft is taking on the Battle Royale genre with its upcoming game, Hyper Scape. Ubisoft plans to dethrone Fortnite with its new F2P game that is now available for PC (Beta version). Hyper Scape offers multiple game modes, including 3v3 “Crown Rush Squad” and 100-player battle royale, “Crown Rush Solo.” At the moment, Hyper Scape features some limited-time game modes. These are “Hack Runner Squad” and “Turbo Mode Squad.” The first season of the game will come to PC, PS4, Xbox One soon.
In 2017, Ubisoft came out with Brawlhalla, the popular F2P game. In the Ubisoft Forward event, the company revealed that the game is making its way to mobile devices soon. You can download the game on iOS and Android phones from 6th August. The game will feature single-player, co-op, and local as well as online competition. Additionally, Brawlhalla will now support cross-play across all platforms. It means PC, console, and mobile gamers could all play the game together.
Ubisoft also announced that it is adding AI-controlled teammates to Ghost Recon Breakpoint from 15th July. The game will receive a new update 2.1.0 that will add this functionality. The update will also bring a new live event called “Resistance” to the game. Players can unlock up to 14 rewards by playing the game between 16th and 29th July.
