Netflix Announced Lucifer Season 6

On top of that, Netflix just announced Lucifer Season 6 with a sassy short video. They captioned it, “Lucifer will return for a sixth and final season. like, FINAL final. oh and season 5 is back august 21.”

For the uninitiated, 666 is the devil’s number, and maker’s creatively used it to announce next and ‘final’ season. Earlier season 4 and then season 5 were said to be the last season; however, due to immense fan demand, makers are officially moving ahead with season 6 even before releasing Lucifer Season 5.

According to reports, Tom Ellis renewed his contract with the makers, and it is hard to believe he renewed contract just for one more season, and the fan demand keeps on rising, so we believe season 6th would be last. Fingers crossed, Luciferians!

About the show, Lucifer is a supernatural crime drama/love story. Lucifer, aka the Devil, is bored with ruling hell and decides to retire in Los Angeles on Earth. He runs a huge bar called Lux and gets involved in a police case handled by Detective Chloe Decker.

Lucifer soon discovers that there is some connection between them even though they are opposites in personalities, and decides to help her solve cases and stay around her professionally.
