The countdown to the release date and time of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion on PS4, PS5, and Xbox is almost over, and there is still an opportunity to receive the MH pre-order bonuses.

Earlier this year, Monster Hunter Rise was released on PlayStation and Xbox systems. The core game is accessible through Xbox Game Pass, and players on PC can crossplay with Xbox users by using the Xbox app.

Although the base MH Rise game is already great, the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion will be available for everyone starting tomorrow.

When will Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak release on PS5 and Xbox?

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak release date and time on PS4 and PS5 is set for 21:00 PDT on April 27th, and 00:00 EST and 00:00 BST on April 28th, as indicated by the PSN store.

The US PSN store shows a countdown of 13.59 hours as of 07:01 PDT on April 27th, while the GB PlayStation store shows a countdown of 14 hours as of 10:00 BST.

The Microsoft store for Xbox also suggests a local midnight release, with the expansion unlocking at 21:00 PDT on April 27th, and 00:00 EST and 00:00 BST on April 28th.

Even though the expansion is not yet out, pre-order bonuses can be obtained by purchasing it now.

What are Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak pre-order bonuses?

The pre-order bonuses for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak are:

  • “Loyal Dog Costume” Palamute layered armor set – A fun outfit for a Canine companion!
  • “Striped Cat Costume” Palico layered armor set – A gorgeous new look for your Felyne friend!

Note that in Monster Hunter Rise, layered armor refers to a cosmetic “skin” that changes the appearance of the character without altering their stats or abilities.

The DLC expansion for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is priced at £32.99/$39.99. It is important to note that in order to enjoy Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion, you must already own MH Rise. Additionally, Capcom has specified that players must have completed the first 7-stars hub quest, Serpent Goddess of Thunder.
