“Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken” continues to stand out amongst scores of anime libraries. It achieved its breakthrough with “That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime” Season 1 released in 2018. Another smash-hit Season 2 Part 1 premiered after a delay of a couple of months in January. “That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime” season 2 had 12 episodes. The makers have confirmed the renewal with plans to make it a cour rather than Season 3.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 Part 2 Release Date
On 20th March, the makers had confirmed that the anime series is heading towards a split cour. It is in production and was earlier scheduled for April 2021 release. However, Season 2 Part 1 getting delayed by 3 months due to COVID has resulted in Season 2 Part 2 postponement by equal months.
“We were proceeding with the production … with a sufficient preparation period. Since the announcement [of Japan’s state of emergency] has had a great impact on the originally planned production schedule, we will postpone the broadcasting and distribution start time,” the official statement says.
That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 Part 2 is now coming in July 2021. It is strongly speculated that Season 2 part 2 will announce a premiere date in accordance with the Summer Anime calendar. In other words, it should fall in the first two weeks of July.
Sticking to its weekly drops on Tuesdays, one can expect anime If That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 Episode 37 to drop in on either 6th July or 13th July.
Animation studio Eight Bit has not confirmed If That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 episodes. However, the Season was planned with 24 Episodes with the last episode aired was Episode 24. Season 2 Part 1 comprised of 12 episodes. It is expected the second cour to be of 12 episodes taking the count to 24.
It’s expected that Season 2 Part 2 will cover the story up to Volume 6 of the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken light novel series.

Slime fans are also searching for Season 3 release date on the internet. There is no confirmation by 8bit or by TenSura. The only update we have is that Crunchyroll in its official blog had revealed that That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 will be divided into 4 seasons.
With Season Part 2 airing in July 2021, we can expect the “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 3” announcement to be made at the end of the second cour. However, on the basis of past releases, Season 3 can get a premiere date in the Fall of 2021 else it will be pushed to the first quarter of 2022.
