It has been only a couple of months since the Season 1 release and there is a clamour for Record of Ragnarok Season 2 updates. In the absence of official confirmation, rumours and leaks are bound to pop up. Gauging the anime series popularity by different indices and also manga left to be covered, one can be sure that the Record of Ragnarok Season 2 announcement can happen anytime sooner.

Credit for the success of the series is majorly attributed to the numerous cosplay of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Her eccentric character design charmed the fans.

Record of Ragnarok manga has been created by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. The publishers in Japan are Tokuma Shoten and Coamix whereas the English version can be read online on Viz Media. Manga’s first volume was published in Monthly Comic Zenon on November 25, 2017.

The manga series has come out with 11 volumes in total by June 18, 2021, and Record of Ragnarok Season 1 covers only the first 5 volumes of the manga. In other words, Netflix has a lot of material to produce much more than a sequel to Record of Ragnarok. Unfortunately, Netflix has not officially confirmed whether the fighting-themed action anime has been renewed for another season.

Recently, two tipsters have shared inside news. They have confirmed the sequel in production. Here is the tweet!

It lacks details on the animation studio and the involvement of the American giant. In other words, it cannot be confirmed whether the sequel will land again on Netflix.

Record of Ragnarok Season 1 premiered on Netflix on June 17, 2021, and was animated by Graphinica. If Season 2 is confirmed, then the fans can expect the Record of Ragnarok 2 release date to be in early Spring 2022.

Wait for the next few days to get the confirmations on the Record of Ragnarok 2 coming up. Share with us your views on whether you were expecting a sequel.
