Let’s be honest, world events during 2020 and 2021 have revolutionized the way we access and use technology, and this trend isn’t set to change any time soon and will continue into 2022 and beyond. From how we work in the office, to how we relax online, it is safe to say the past few years have brought about a technological revolution.

In this article, we’ll be looking at the level of competition in the Tech Podcast world these days that is hard to get people to tune into yours. Luckily, there are certain things any podcaster can do to improve their appeal and expand their reach. Here are the biggest technology trends that we expect to see in 2022.

AI as the Norm

If you’d spoken to us just 20 years ago about how ingrained AI would be into our day-to-day lives we’d be sent into a Y2K panic, but fast forward to the present and many of us couldn’t live without our handy dandy AI’s. Put simply, Siri and Alexa are here to stay, and in 2022 we’ll likely see further innovations and improvements to the time-saving services offered by these artificial intelligence characters such as enhanced interfaces on smartphones and even smart cars as well as increased interaction between a greater variety of products.

Online Social Gaming

Sites such as Twitch have exploded over periods of quarantine, and many game developers have sought to include cooperative and battle royale features into their games to encourage social gaming. It’s not just in classic video games that a revolution has taken place, however, as Virtual Reality Casino Games have taken the online casino world by storm. Able to offer an immersive experience closer to a real-world casino than ever before, this form of gaming is still in its infancy but is set to explode in 2022. From live casino game shows with a real presenter to table games that offer a greater deal of interactivity, lots of good things are expected to come on the online casino industry next year.  To get ahead of the curve and check out the best online casino sites in the USA just visit the following site.

Digitization and Virtualization

One of the biggest changes that are set to continue into 2022 is the work-at-home revolution and the advancements in tech that have come with it. Productivity sites such as Monday, Asana, Trello, Smartsheets, and of course, Zoom, have allowed workforces to effectively collaborate and host meetings no matter their location. Managers can check in on the progress of their project with just a few taps on their smartphone and assigning and collaborating on work can be just as easy as tagging fellow contributors.

Many smaller companies have decided to close down their physical offices entirely due to how convenient and cost-effect working from home can be, so it seems that 2022 may change the face of office work forever. While not confirmed this could have the knock-on effect of dramatic improvements to laptops, PCs, and tablets, with the potential for lower prices to make devices more accessible to the mass market.

Transparency and Accountability

Of course, huge technological developments cannot succeed without public trust, which is why in 2022 we’re expecting to see a huge drive for more transparency and accountability particularly in regards to data-sharing and data protection. This is because many of the massive technological developments require more information about their users than ever, and whole workplaces can input sensitive data so that their staff can work from home. With so much information floating about in cyberspace, tech providers are expected to really step up in 2022 and protect their users through transparent and accountable practices.

Internet of ‘Things’

Also referred to as IoT, internet of things refers to the huge number of devices that are now being made WIFI compatible. From ‘smart’ devices mentioned earlier in this article to innovations for the home that can be controlled by your smartphone, appliances, and objects with IoT technology are set to become less of a novelty and more of a norm in 2022.

This means that ensuring your home is warm when you return is simple as using an app on your phone, and forgetting to lock your door is a thing of the past. 2022 is projected as the year when our homes transform into devices to enhance our lives instead of a simple place to rest our heads.

Are you 2022 Ready?

So, as you can see, big things are coming in 2022, but the big question is; are you ready for them? It’s safe to say that many of these innovations revolve around possessing an up-to-date smartphone, so if you don’t want to be left behind, now could be the time to invest in a new model that will be compatible with the latest innovations.
