Android 11 Custom ROM unofficial update available for OnePlus 3/3T

We all are aware that a stable version of Android 11 has been unveiled recently. Many devices like Google’s Pixel series, few Xiaomi devices like Redmi K20 Pro/Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro were the first ones to receive the joined the update. More OEMs are expected to follow suit. Some devices have received Android 11 beta builds like OnePlus 8 series, Samsung Galaxy S20 series, and several other OEMs.

While Android OEMs are working on coming up with customized skins, the devs have come to the rescue by releasing custom ROMs, pretty stable ones of late. Recently few models like Xiaomi POCO F1, Realme X2, OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 6, Moto G7 Power, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Lenovo Z6 Pro, and the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 have started receiving Android 10 custom ROMs. This is beginning to more such custom ROMs for older devices in the coming weeks.

Today, Android developers released Android 11 custom ROM for OnePlus 3/3T, along with OnePlus Nord. OnePlus 3 and 3T are 4-year-old launches running on Qualcomm’s SD 821. In 2016, they were launched with Android 6.1 out of the box. Subsequently, Oneplus has supported them over years and the last upgrade is Android 9 Pie.

Today, devs at Havoc OS have released an Android 11 Custom ROM build for OnePlus 3/3T device owners. The build is in alpha with version Havoc-OS-4.0-[11.0.0_r3]. In other words, it is not officially stable for the final rollout. You can expect it to be buggy. However, if you want to experiment and test the build, head to the link given below!

The news about older devices for which the OEMs had stopped supporting is heartwarming. It is an indication that the developer community has worked hard to instill life in them. It will not be wrong to set hope on other devices as well in teh near future.
