In an interview recently, the director, Shigeru Ueda, confirmed that the airing of Peach Boy Riverside Anime episodes will not follow a chronological order as they happen in Coolkyoushinja and Johanne’s original manga. Here is the reason behind teh decision:

“It’s difficult to explain, but the main reason is [the Peach Boy Riverside manga] is still running. When I discussed writing the series with [Keiichirō] Ōchi before production, we discussed how to end the story. At that point, the manga was in between volume six and volume seven, so the end of the adventure hadn’t been created yet. If we animated the series based on the manga as is, it would end in the middle of the story”

UEDA In AN Interview

The Peach Boy Riverside Season has 12 episodes with the season finale set to air on September 16th.

The other anime series to look forward to on Crunchyroll include My Next Life as a Villainess and Girlfriend Girlfriend over the weekend. There are two more new series coming up that can be given a try. Remake Our Lives premiering on Saturday and Idolish7 Third Beat airing on Sunday every week on Crunchyroll.
