Has Disney Plus Rectified the X-Men Episodes order issue?

Marvel Studios, attending San Diego Comic-Con, opened the festival with a fascinating roundtable discussion on upcoming animated movies that will add to the Marvel library on Disney+. Therefore, check Disney Plus review to watch X-men.

This includes the recently launched X-Men ’97 series, which will carry on the venerable X-Men: The Animated Series that dominated television in the 1990s.

The X-Men ’97 miniseries is well into production and will live stream on the service by Fall 2023; you can watch Xmen on Disney Plus NZ.

Audiences may reconnect on all five seasons of the show’s first season, which had 76 episodes and featured enduring characters like Cal Dodd’s Wolverine and a plethora of other recurring cast and crew.

One of the only complaints about the show is that the events of the original trilogy did not air sequentially and were never restored to the correct order before debuting on Disney+. But you read it right, Disney+ has settled the order issue of the X-Men series.

Disney+ Sorted the X-Men Series Order Issue

The chapters of the miniseries were the first broadcast on Disney+ in the wrong order, which resulted in misunderstandings among some spectators because the narratives needed to make more sense.

After that, fans posted their own updated “watching guidelines” online for Disney+ subscribers. Dark wing Duck and Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes also encountered difficulty when they first aired on Disney+; thus, X-Men: The Animated Series wasn’t the only show to have an improper episode order or missing episodes.

Between 1992 through 1997, 76 chapters of X-Men: The Animated Series were broadcast across five seasons. The television show centered on Professor Charles Xavier and his team of genetically mutated warriors as they campaigned for justice and acceptability among mankind in the Marvel Comics Universe.

Iconic Marvel characters from the films and television series starred in the series, including Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Storm, Beast, Gambit, Jubilee, and the aforementioned Charles Xavier, aka Professor X.

Disney+ is a place to facilitate streaming membership to all five seasons of X-Men: The Animated Series. You can also check out the list of 10 most anticipated anime this year.

A further pilot episode developed by Marvel Studios is entitled “X-Men ’97,” and it will debut on Disney+ in the fall of 2023. Another “X-Men” animated version from the 1990s will be continued in “X-Men ’97,” which will usher in a brand-new era for the reunited X-Men and appeal to fans of the first series.

The following section details the chronological order of the series.

Chronological order of X-Men

1)X-Men: First Class

Launch date: June 3, 2011

We’re already commencing our list with something like a caution about the top slot. If you want to go explicit, some of X-Men Origins: Wolverine’s prologue is set around 1845, but most of the movie takes place much later.

First Class is the most reliable choice for the first chronological X-Men movie because it is largely set during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.

You can accompany Prof. X and Magneto as they go beyond being best friends to deadliest antagonists, the X-Men team’s early struggles, and Prof. X and Magneto burgeoning turbulence.

2) X-Men: Days of Future Past

Launch date: May 23, 2014

Another controversial temporal issue, Days of Future Past, alternately takes place in 1973 and “The Prospective.” Days of Future Past promises action, confusion, and truly appalling hairstyles thanks to the appearance of both original and prequel actors and a few fan favorites.

Both analysts and viewers were generally pleased with this mid-franchise adaptation of the classic comic book tale since it rang out with the new Marvel cinematic aesthetic.

3) X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Launch Date: May 1, 2009

You’ll witness Wolverine in First Class making a quick appearance in a bar. Sequentially, we are only a few years away from the 1979-primarily set Wolverine origin story.

From 1845 to the time of Wolverine’s character-defining adamantium operation, a trilogy of flashback scenes takes us through every major battle he engaged in.

Ryan Reynolds also makes his debut as Deadpool here, though it’s the cursed monkey paw version; don’t worry, they fix their flaws later.

4) X-Men: Apocalypse

Launch Date: May 27, 2016

The modernized X-Men group faces up against the eponymous antagonist, Apocalypse, in X-Men: Apocalypse, which stars Oscar Isaacs as the first of two different Egyptian Marvel heroes.

Further issue of contention is that while this movie does begin with a scene set in 3600 BC, 1983 quickly takes over in terms of both the story and the design choices.

Audiences were largely divided in their reactions to this movie; some thought the classic villain was perfect, while others thought there was too much action. We’ll let you make the final decision.

5) X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Launch Date: June 7, 2019

The latest endeavor to tell the Dark Phoenix storyline culminates in the prequel movies. Jean Grey will attempt to resuscitate the Phoenix, but interplanetary intruders will be present on this occasion, and the Mystique look will shift once more. Although her outfit is yellow and red, she is a light cornflower blue for this movie.

6) X-Men

Launch Date: July 14, 2000

The premiere motion picture! This was the first legitimate X-Men movie, if not the sixth sequentially, with a 2000 setting.

In this movie’s debut, many of the characters have changed, and the timeline has been edited and reassembled several times. As a result, it may get a little confusing to watch. Sir Patrick Stewart hasn’t aged a day, yet the nostalgia factor is strong.

7) X-2: X-Men United

Launch Date: May 2, 2003

X2 scoops up just where the theatrical cut left off and is set in the same year as its predecessor. When Colonel Striker imprisons Prof. X, everyone wonders how Wolverine will make this about him.

In a startling turn of events, he does. Nightcrawler and Lady Deathstrike are two brand-new characters. Great battle sequences are how both of them pay their bills.

8) X-Men: The Last Stand

Launch Date: May 26, 2006

The third and last picture in the original X-Men trifecta and the first to attempt the Dark Phoenix saga. Returning with her superpowers boosted and prepared to take on the new mutant cure is Jean Grey. The X-Men team will not be present on this list again after this. Spin-offs and different timelines are the only topics covered moving forward.

9) The Wolverine

Launch Date: July 26, 2013

Does this movie exist at all? Objectively yes, yet, in a more technical sense, no, not at all. The narrative of Days of Future Past forced the events of this movie to be retconned.

Therefore, seeing it will be for pleasure only. Because Wolverine is a well-known nerd in Japan, most of this movie naturally takes place there. Depending on the universe, some of his comical offspring or clones may have originated from there.

10) Deadpool

Launch Date: February 12, 2016

Since it features the X-Men, Colossus, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Ryan Reynolds’ interpretation of the fourth-wall-breaking merc with a mouth is included in this list.

Although this movie only has a few fleeting images of the X-Mansion, it nonetheless makes a strong case for being the first R-rated mutant movie.

Movie releases will bother you if you are a comic fan, specifically X-men comics. The only salvage from this order of release was the marvelous acting from Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, and many more. You can follow this guide to read X-men Comic in order.

I genuinely hope this article gave you clarity on the X-Men series order. So Now, What Are You Waiting For? Go and enjoy the series in its correct order!
