Xiaomi has come out of the Beta or only China mode and started with a stable but “other global regions” rollout of Android 10 on Mi Mix 3. The regions not covered are India, Indonesia, Russia, or the EU in the rollout. They will not receive the update as they have their own firmware codes. The excluded regions will be the next to receive the update when Xiaomi has plans.

If your device is eligible, your Mi MIX 3 will get a notification asking to install MIUI 11.0.3.0 (QEEMIXM). It is a 2GB download approximately. The Android 10 update gets the February 2020 security patch beside the new OS. There are few bug fixes, optimized system security, and localized payment security icon for India.

The update had started getting rolled out from today. German users were the first ones to report. The rollout will happen in phases but everyone will receive as per their schedule.

If you have not received a notification, you can check for the update manually in Settings. You can find a direct link here in case you cannot wait for the notification

Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 had made a debut in 2019 running on Android 9 with the MIUI 10 overlay. It is the flagship model for the Mix series. In last December, its China region had received the Android 10 update. Now with the wait of more than 2 months, other regions of the world have started getting a stable update.

Recently Android 10 rollout for Mi A3 done on February 29 had landed in mess. The company had to pull it back after critical issues being reported. As far as Android 10 rollout on Mi MIX 3 is concerned, the device has not reported any glitches. Everything is working perfectly.

You can also go ahead with the installation of the update and share with us the feedback.
