There is a piece of good news for Poco F1 owners. Xiaomi has started rolling out the global version of the MIUI 12 official update. An official community post made by a moderator from Xiaomi mentions that MIUI 12 would be released for the global market in two phases.
The first phase update has started to roll out already, and Xiaomi’s Mi9, Mi9T, Mi9T Pro, Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro are the devices that would receive the update in the next few weeks.
The second phase of the update is supposed to begin in July as Xiaomi is planning to dedicate June exclusively for delivering and optimizing the update for its phase 1 devices.
This list of devices in the second phase include Poco F1, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi Mix 3, Mi 10 Pro, and other popular devices. As of now, Xiaomi will begin rolling out MIUI 12 for these phones in July. However, as we are talking about an update on a global scale, not all the users will get the update at the same time. So, it will take a couple of months before every compatible phone gets the MIUI 12 update.
The moderator even says that Poco F1 might also get another major update, i.e., Android 11.
