On March 03, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas had shared a teaser on his Twitter handle. Announcing a Special Surprise lined up for March 19, he gave a hint about a possible collaboration with the James Bond movie franchise. The clue was meant for the upcoming movie ‘No Time To Die’
The partnership with the James Bond movie franchise was disclosed in a press release later. It was also published that the company’s first 5G smartphone will feature in the 25th installment in Bond movie- No Time To Die as the new 00 agent. With this Bond movie franchisee has replaced Sony with Nokia.
Soon after the announcement, the fans caught the first impressions of supposedly Nokia 8.2 5G in the latest trailer of ‘No Time To Die’. Reddit user shared screengrabs of Agent 007 talking on the phone. The display has silver frames with blue/green back panel. The images hint at a Nokia 8.2 5G handset, officially releasing on March 19 in London.
Nokia 8.2 5G is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC and will have a triple rear camera configuration.
There were strong rumors that Nokia will be bringing a limited edition Bond accessories for Nokia handsets and even a “007 edition” Nokia phone.
In addition to Nokia 8.2 5G model, ‘No Time To Die’ will also feature two more models namely Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 3310 4G. A 90-sec advertisement will be released on March 8 to demo the other models. HMD also confirmed that the ad will feature Lashana Lynch, who plays the role of Agent Nomi in ‘No Time To Die’.
