Samsung is working on its upcoming Galaxy S11+ for quite some time now. We bring to you the latest piece of information regarding the battery capacity of the smartphone. As per a recent report, the new Galaxy S11+ will come loaded with a 5000 mAh battery. The mega capacity battery is the largest ever for a Samsung phone. It will empower the smartphone for the 5G network and 120 Hz refresh rates. The higher refresh rate enhances the overall UI experience.
Galaxy Club reported that a photograph of the battery cell which will be used in the S11+ models surfaced on the South Korean certification website, SafetyKorea. In the image, viewers can see the model number EB-BG988ABY and a rated capacity of 4855 mAh. The same report claimed that Samsung developed the battery on its own in Samsung SDI factory of Vietnam. There are strong speculations that the smartphone will support 45-Watt smart charging.
Prior to the current information about the battery, there were two more leaks regarding the screen size and the camera module. Steve Hemmerstoffer tipped that the device will sport a five-camera module on the rear side. Samsung has also improved the resolution to 108-megapixels. Another leak claimed that the new smartphone would have a 6.9—inch screen and OneUI 2.0 based Android 10 OS.
Samsung Galaxy S11+ might prove to be a game-changer for the South Korean giant as the recent releases by OnePlus and Apple have already added much heat to the market.
