Samsung Galaxy Note 10 adds six-axis S-Pen gestures, Video Bokeh mode with Super Steady shots


Galaxy Note 10 is finally out. Most of the rumours and leaks that were out on the internet before its release turned out to be true. There are many reasons for you to be excited for Galaxy Note 10. Samsung has equipped Galaxy Note with an in-house manufactured 7nm processor.

Handwriting recognition

Easily converts handwritten notes to text which can be converted to a text file or pdf. Galaxy Note 10 can recognise different types of languages and accurately convert them to text using machine learning.

S-Pen Gestures

Note 9 had S Pen loaded with Bluetooth support which lets user take specific actions like clicking photos etc. Note 10 has taken it a step forward by combining six-axis motion sensor. S Pen in Note 10 takes camera gestures to the next level. You can use it to swipe between different camera modes, zoom in or zoom out and switch between front and rear camera.

S Pen can be used to change volume, skip tracks while listening to music, swipe between photos etc. S Pen has received a lot of attention in Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung has tried to make it more than a stylus and a simple remote control.

Samsung has added gesture support for Youtube app. S Pen can be used to control most of the aspects of Youtube, including skipping to next video, play/ pause and changing volume. Note 10 users will also get free 4 months of Youtube Premium subscription.

Samsung is going to open up an SDK where more and more developers can integrate S Pen gestures into their app.

Galaxy Note 10 camera supports bokeh mode for videos also. Note 10 can add blur effects to the background of a video keeping the subject highlighted. You can adjust the amount of blur while recording the video. Galaxy Note 10 has a super steady camera which removes any shaking while you are recording a video.

Note 10 Price for the base variant starts from $949 (₹69,999) while Note 10+ base variant starts from $1049 (₹ 79,999)
