Android Oreo (Go Edition) powered Samsung Galaxy J4 Core got the latest August security patch update today. The budget phone from Samsung becomes the first one to receive the latest Google Security patch in the Galaxy lineup. Android Go is a lite version of the full-fledged Android OS that is designed to run on phones with low-end specs.
August security patch that is rolled out by Samsung provides security against many vulnerabilities. Samsung has also fixed issues with its own UI with this new update. Galaxy J4 Core comes with 16GB storage and 1GB RAM. Due to Android Oreo Go Edition, it is still able to perform daily tasks with ease.
You can check for the latest security patch update on your Galaxy J4 Core by navigating to Settings> System> System updates. If it still says that there are no updates available, it’s only because such updates are issued in batches. In this case, you will have to wait for some time to receive the update.
