Redmi announced the launch of “Made In India”, Redmi Note 9 today. Well, they announced it in a unique style and uploaded a tweet with an image that looks like a championship belt. Read on for more information on Redmi Note 9 India launch.
Earlier, the company had teased India launch of the phone and now they have indirectly teased its date and time. The image which looks like someone holding a championship brand has ‘9’ written in center and has ‘Redmi and ‘Note’ branding on its sides!
Redmi Note 9 Launch In India
The company had posted the same image last time on Twitter, but this time it has a precise launch date and time instead of coming soon mark. Redmi Note 9 will be released on July 20 at 12 noon.
The company has, however, not announced the price range for the phone. The price of its different variants will be announced during the official launch in India.
Interestingly, the model number of the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 9 is said to be ‘M2003J15SI’ as seen on a Wi-Fi Alliance listing. If you are interested in buying the phone, here are some specs for you.
The phone is the predecessor of Redmi Note 9 pro and successor of Redmi Note 8 Pro. The phone runs on MIUI based Android 10 and powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor.
It features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) IPS display. Talking about the camera, it has a quad rear camera setup (48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel) and a hole-punch design for the selfie shooter.
Redmi’s much-awaited phone has a powerful 5,020mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The device is priced at $199 (approx. 14,900) for 3 GB Ram + 64 GB memory variant and $249 (approx. Rs. 18,700) for 4 GB Ram + 128GB variant.
