The recent MIUI 11 update that was released to Xiaomi devices has revealed some exciting information about upcoming Redmi K30 device. The code in MIUI 11 has hidden options of setting the display refresh rate to 120Hz or 60Hz which will be available in the upcoming flagship device. Redmi K20 Pro was a success among Indian masses and people due to its value for money proposition.
Redmi K30 120Hz Display
Redmi K30 will prove to be a worthy successor for Redmi K20 Pro with its 120Hz display and a Samsung S10e styled side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The information was leaked on a thread on xda-developers. MIUI 11 build has these options hidden for a smartphone codenamed as “Phoenix” which is expected to be Redmi K30.
High refresh displays have become a norm for 2019 flagship devices. The trend of higher refresh displays in a flagship device was started by OnePlus with their OnePlus 7 Pro which was launched in May this year. Apart from the 120Hz display, Redmi K30 will also have Sony’s New IMX686 sensor which has a 60MP lens.
