Realme X2 Pro was launched in October 2019 in the affordable budget smartphone category. It came pre-installed with Android 9.0 (Pie) and got upgraded to Android 10 Realme UI last year. Now it is waiting for realme UI 2.0 Android 11 stable update.

Unfortunately, its users are desperately waiting for a realme UI 2.0 Android 11 stable update since December. In the quarter wise Android 11 rollout roadmap shared by the OEM, Realme X2 Pro was to receive in December along with Realme 6 Pro, Realme 7, and Realme Narzo 20 Pro.

However, the users were disappointed after they received the Android 11 early access program instead of the Android 11 update. It was followed by the first realme X2 Pro Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) open beta/early access registrations in February. It was open to limited slots only. The company continued to remain elusive about its future plans.

During the same time frame, a couple of users shared their conversation with Realme support on the stable realme UI 2.0 Android 11 update timelines.

The text chat exchanged between Realme 7 Pro user and support agent explicitly confirms that the stable Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11 will go live by end of March. In fact, in one conversation, 21st March is the date when the device starts receiving.

Unfortunately to the dismay of users, the devs have released another beta update for realme 7 Pro devices. It is meant for beta testers and is almost 1 GB in size. To the disappointment of all, the realme UI 2.0 Android 11 update continues to elude them.

Maybe, the devs are only a step away from the final rollout. If nothing critical is reported, maybe realme UI 2.0 Android 11 update will soon land up.

Recently Realme Narzo 20 had received the stable Android 11 update and this has compounded desperation. There is evident frustration of running behind schedule when it comes to software updates. And, Realme Support doesn’t help much except with a curt reply – “A stable update for the same will be released soon.”
