Nothing excites a gadget enthusiast more than the news of a new software launch on his device. What normal people understand about software updates is that their phones will work faster and freeze less. To an enthusiast, it is a lot more than that. The year 2020 saw different OEMs coming up with their native skins on Android 11 OS.

The majority have rolled out stable Android updates to eligible models except for realme. It is lagging behind due to its lengthy schedule of early access programs. With Android 12 almost getting ready, realme users are a frustrated lot.

But, June 2021 has promises for them. Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update is getting rolled out in a phased manner for many devices. Realme UI 2.0 beta is soon going to make its way toward a more stable release this June. However, there are still some devices that didn’t even make it to the first build( the beta-version) of the Realme UI 2.0. The huge portfolio of the company explains this delay.

Curious to know if your Realme device is going to get the update of the new software soon? Well, there are 8 models that have been scheduled to get realme UI 2.0 update in June. They are Realme X, Realme XT, Realme 3 Pro, Realme5 Pro, Realme X50 & X50m, Realme Q, & Narzo 20A.

The users are relieved because these older models somehow got a date with realme UI 2.0 update, somewhat unexpected.

Generally, the newly released devices are the first ones to receive any major OS update, followed by the older ones. The same reason why Realme X50 Pro flagship got access to the new UI 2.0 the first.

In April 2021, Realme X7 Pro got its early access to the Realme UI 2.0. The following month, it was the chance for Realme X7 and Realme C15 Qualcomm edition to get their early access to the beta mode.

However, devices like the Realme 3 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, Realme X, Realme XT, and Realme Narzo 20A, being a little older than the new models, didn’t yet get any update notification. Do not worry, as they are all set to receive their software update news anytime in June(usually by the end of the month). Many of them had been on the Open Beta program, so, yeayee!

The company has confirmed that Realme X will be receiving the Realme UI 2.0 Early Access update towards the end of June. Two more models Realme X50 5G and X50m that had received open beta last month are ready for a phased wise stable update in June. Another popular model is Realme 7 which is also speculated to get a stable Realme UI 2.0 Android 11 update by June.

For now, only Realme X50 Pro and Realme Narzo 20 have found their way to the stable version of the new update. Rest all are either in the beta testing version or are yet to receive the beta version.

With this only, two other devices, Realme Narzo 20 A and Realme Narzo 30 Pro, are left from the Android 11 update schedule. These two devices are all set to appear in the 3rd quota of the software release as soon as the second quota is complete.

Found your device in the list? Curious to know all the new features that will get added to your device? Let us now tell you all about the new features that you should expect to see from the Realme UI 2.0 once it has been installed.

  • Redesignation of the notification panel.
  • New, updated dark mode themes/styles and features. You will be able to choose between enhanced, medium, and gentle.
  • Optimization of the Night charging mode. You can now control the speed of charging your device at night. It will help in extending the battery life of your phone.
  • New, different, and cool weather animations
  • Support of third-party icons on the home screen.
  • Users can now directly enable or disable App Lock from the settings.
  • Addition of two new camera features.
  • Easy hotspot sharing option using QR codes.

Apart from this list, there will be additional bug fixes from the previous version of the UI. Your overall system will also experience an optimized speed and clarity than the previous OS Realme Ui 1.0.

The company’s aggressive schedule for June suggests that it wants to get all pending rollouts done and dusted.

Need even more exciting news? Sources have revealed that right after all the devices are on the stable Realme UI 2.0, Realme will make its way to the next software update, which is Realme UI 3.0. Unlike UI 2.0, it will be based on the latest OS Android 12. PhonesWiki will come back to you with more details once the release gets official. In the meantime, share with us your expectations of Android 12 coming up!
