To the relief of PUBG Mobile fans, PUBG Corp announced the Payload Mode reaching them on October 23. The announcement came today on PUBG Mobile’s Twitter handle. In the official 0.15.0 update, PUBG had assured to bring the latest Payload Mode to the famous Battle Royale game. Even though the update was added to the game, it never went live on October 16. PUBG Mobile confirmed that the players will soon get the Live version and today a date has been announced.
The possible reason behind the delay is that devs have taken time to fine-tune and iron out any defects. Payload Mode is finally confirmed to hit PUBG Mobile on Wednesday, October 23.
The New Payload Mode
Till date, the Mode has been part of the beta release but now it will officially go live. It will be part of classic battle royale mode but with a smaller map area on Erangel. It sounds exciting because, in addition to the latest heavy weaponry, it supplements the game with the helicopter, Recall System, Super Weapon Crates, and Vehicle Repair Packs. The newly-added weapons constitute RPG-7, M79 Grenade Launcher, M3E1-A, MGL Grenade Launcher, and M134 Minigun.
Comes with new heavy weapons, recall system, a helicopter, Vehicle Repair Pack and Super Weapon Crates! Air Strikes are available, too!USP of Payload Mode – PUBG Patch Notes 0.15.0
Players can find helicopters, use them in battle and collect Payload Mode weapons too. They can airdrop weapons, level 3 armour, and more with Super Weapon Crates which spawns automatically and gets activated at a frequency of 3 minutes. In addition to these features, players can also repair vehicles using Vehicle Repair Pack. It allows an attack on multiple enemies through airstrikes. The mode permits the players to revive their dead team members through ‘Teammate Recall’. You can secure their ID cards and take them to the nearest Communication Tower.
Apart from the Payload Mode, the 0.15.0 update of PUBG Mobile introduces the Ledge Grab and Exploding Fuel Canisters. It brings a deadly weapon – a modern pistol, the Desert Eagle or Deagle and a new vehicle named BRDM-2.
