“Big overhaul” of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Leaves Fans Disappointed!

Here comes the latest patch update from Infinity Ward devs for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Versioned 1.09 released on all platforms- PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The new version releases a massive 12.9GB update on PS4, 15GB on Xbox One, and a whopping 20GB on PC. The patch is expected to bring stability on the app & server-side, security aspects and performance improvements on all platforms.

It was only a few weeks ago, COD devs had launched a new multiplayer map – Shoot House, a new Ground War Map – Krovnik Farmland, Hardpoint and more. As expected, due to the size of the release, the game did not go smooth with fans reporting a number of blockers. To improve the overall performance of the game and gain the right gaming experience, fans had to download innumerable updates. Today’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Patch version 1.09 is expected to fix many pending bugs and less of new functions.

The announcement of the release of version 1.09 patch notes came on the official Reddit page of Modern Warfare today. With this update comes a brand new Spec Ops missions- “Harbinger” and “Brimstone.” Classic Special Ops have also been brought in with “Door Kick”, 3 Star Rating System and in-game rewards. Multiplayer mode playlist has been refreshed with Realism Moshpit and Gun Game. More notable ones include the fixing of spawn camera in private match, thermals through smoke, and SnD mounting glitch. Devs have kept the wicked 725 shogun safe in this version.

There has been a huge unending list of quality improvements across the game, in terms of bug fixes – game-specific and general fixes. These modifications vary from Special Operators, kill feed less clumsy, weapon fixes, append CTF and Hardpoint into Combat Records, munitions drops and several reported fixes to prevent crashes and improve stability. The reaction of gamers to the latest patch has not been encouraging. They were expecting a “massive overhaul” update but “this was way more hilarious and way more underwhelming.”

Today, data miners unearthed the first look of the Modern Warfare Battle Pass Season 1 Logo from the game files. Modern Warfare Battle Pass Season 1 is expected to reach anytime in December. On the news about 200-person Battle Royale mode, there is no further update.
