OnePlus is all set to introduce OxygenOS 10 Open Beta 2 for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The upgrade will mark the second update for the 2018 launched smartphones. Also, they will bring several improvements to the new firmware version. The beta users will be able to upgrade to the said version by Android 10. For some users, the upgrade might appear as ‘beta 31’ which is mainly because this is the 31st beta built for the OnePlus series.

OnePlus has officially stated that the update is aimed at fixing the bug-related issues. Hence, no major UI features will be seen as a part of the update. It has enhanced the in-display fingerprint scanner and WiFi related issues on the 5GHz networks. The new update is mainly classified among three sub-categories, i.e. System, Camera, and WiFi.
For the system part, the update has sorted the fingerprint identification issue and has also fixed the animation lag. The update has improved the overall system stability while the automatic freeze and reboot issues have also been taken care of. OnePlus is known for its remarkable camera quality, and the update has further improved its performance and fixed a few bugs. Finally, for the WiFi part, the 5GHz compatibility has been improved.
After OnePlus announced the OxygenOS 10 Open Beta 2, 7Pro and 7T users also expressed their desire to get similar updates the following year.
