- OnePlus is launching 7T and 7T Pro sooner than expected
- OnePlus 7T will start from 8GB RAM variant
- A circular triple rear camera setup is also expected
One Plus 7T and One Plus 7T Pro are expected to be launched in India along with the OnePlus TV. It’s just been three months since the launch of the OnePlus 7 smartphone, and as of now, the company is all set to release its next set of smartphones. OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro are expected in India on 26th September. Launch of OnePlus TV may also be witnessed along with smartphones. It is noticed that the company generally launches a ‘T’ version of its smartphones that comes with elevated specifications.
The specifications of OnePlus 7T have been leaked online almost one month before its official launch in India. The next set may include new camera design and different colour options. Thanks to the tipster Ishan Agarwal, we are almost sure about the leaked specifications of the OnePlus 7T smartphone. Let us have a look at the other specifications of the smartphone.
In terms of hardware, the specifications of OnePlus 7T suggest that it could be a massive update over the standard OnePlus 7. The Oneplus 7 was merely an updated version of OnePlus 6T, but this does not seem to be the same in the case of OnePlus 7T. There are many changes in the department of cameras, battery and display.
OnePlus 7T 90Hz Display
According to the rumours, the smartphone will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. There will be two variants of the smartphone i.e., 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The colour options of the smartphone will be Haze Blue and Frosted Silver. It is expected that the biggest update will be the change in display. The device will feature a smaller notch with a 6.55″ 2K (Quad HD+) Super AMOLED 90hz Display. OnePlus 7 had a pretty good display, but when compared to the 90Hz expected display of OnePlus 7T, the OnePlus 7 felt outdated. The smartphone would be the best for the gamers who will get a smoother 90Hz display to experience better gameplay. According to sources, the dimensions of the smartphone might be 161.2×74.5×8.3mm. The handset will include 3,800 mAh battery.
As we go towards the photography section, the smartphone will feature a triple camera setup of 12 Megapixels (possibly a zoom camera), 16 Megapixels (probably ultra-wide), and 48 Megapixels sensors. OnePlus will add triple camera setup to the 7T on popular customer demand. According to the leaked renders, the cameras will have a circular layout in a straight line that will be connected to a dual-LED flash. Just to recall, OnePlus 7 has 2 cameras which confirm the fact that OnePlus 7T is an upgraded version of OnePlus 7, at least in the department of camera. For casual photographers, the camera specifications of OnePlus 7 were good enough but for shutterbugs, this was not enough. Slow Motion Video recording will also be featured in the smartphone at 960 frames per second. It will also include Nightscape mode and wide-angle video recording.
A 16 Megapixel Selfie shooter has also been expected on the front side.
The upcoming smartphone will offer a new and upgraded Snapdragon 855+ SoC. A 15% gain in the performance of graphics and a 4% gain in the performance of CPU over the previous Snapdragon 855 chipset is promised by the Snapdragon 855 plus chipset.
The 6GB RAM model of OnePlus has also ditched by the ‘T’ series and the base model will offer a RAM of 8GB with 128GB storage as standard. Another model will comprise of 256 GB storage with the same RAM specifications.
When compared with the battery specifications, there is a slight increase of 100mAh in the new version. The older version offered a battery of 3,700 mAh while the newer version is expected to offer a battery of 3,800 mAh. The charging system of the new handset is still a mystery.
The price of the handset will be the major factor which could bring a major change. Combining all the rumours, the starting price of OnePlus 7T is expected to be close to INR 40,000.
Some of the other specifications of OnePlus 7T are still a mystery. But as far, if the rumours are true, this handset could push customers to upgrade.
