Netflix Announces Lucifer Season 5 Release Date

The American fantasy web series, Lucifer, is one of the most popular shows on Netflix. The fans of Lucifer were eagerly waiting for the fifth season of the show, and Netflix has announced that the show will make a return on 21st August 2020.

Netflix did not create a lot of buzz about this release date as it has already told the audience that the 16 episodes would be split into two parts. The release date for Lucifer is now present on the website. The fans who were watching the show recently noticed this subtle addition to the website, and now their excitement knows no bounds.

The creators of Lucifer began filming the show after the Governor of British Columbia gave filming permission a couple of weeks ago. All the cast members are on location, and sources say that the final two episodes of the season are being shot at the moment. After the first batch of eight episodes goes live in August, the fans of Lucifer need to wait until Feb 2021 for the next eight episodes.

After Netflix added the release date for Lucifer season 5, DB Woodside asked the audience to be patient as good things are happening.

Now, the question this Lucifer fans are asking is whether the show will get a sixth season?
