Toho had earlier sanctioned the release of 4 physical Blu-ray and DVD sets for Season 5. The final volume is likely to end with Episode 113. On 4th September, episode 110 was streamed in the series and now we can expect 3 more to go, including todays.

Boku no Hero Academia Season 5 has entered deep into the anticipated narrative My Villain Academia arc with the Season 5 Episode 20. Also known as the Meta Liberation Army story, the MVA arc is considered the 7th story in the Rise of Villains Saga. It can be found in chapters from 218 to 240 in the original manga.

Titled “Shimura Tenko: Origin”, Boku no Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 23 will be accessible to premium subscribers of both Funimation and Crunchyroll simultaneously. The episode can be watched for free too, however, one week after it gets released on these platforms.

Where can I watch ‘MHA’ Season 5 Episode 23?

MHA Season 5 Episode 1 premiered on March 27, 2021, on ytv and NTV in Japan followed by simulcast streaming on Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu. On Crunchyroll, the episode will stream in English subs with original Japanese audio. Hulu platform will also stream with English subs in the US. AnimeLab will stream for fans in Australia and New Zealand. Teh episode can be watched on Wakanim for those in Scandinavia.

MHA Season 5 English dub started streaming on Funimation on April 10, 2021. It was joined by Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block on May 9, 2021.

However, the English dub version of any episode on Funimation and Toonami platforms usually takes around 3-4 weeks after the episode airs. Expect episode 23 to drop in sometime around the second week of October.

To watch English subs on Funimation, 14-day free trial is available on most of the platforms. The episodes can be watched from anywhere on iOS, Android platforms, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 23 Spoilers

With My Villain Academia arc finally kicked off in the past 3 episodes, we have been introduced to villains followed by Metahumans. My Villain Academia, the saga that is approaching its end is leading viewers to the turbulent past and the speculations that push Tomura Shigaraki and his men.

Episode 23 of MVA, titled “Tomura Shigaraki: Origin” airing on September 11 will focus precisely on the leader of the Union, the one who has been chosen to become the successor of All For One.

Fans are likely to see the young villain, Tomura, regain his faded memory. The preview images shared on Twitter by user @Atsushi101X also hint at the same. The villain will have flashes of his childhood during the battle with Ri-Destro.

Shigaraki will be confronted with questions like what happened to his family, what does his costume symbolize and why was he “adopted” by All For One? We are likely to have the answers to these questions in the upcoming episode.

My Hero Academia Chapter 326 delayed by a week

The 41st issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will not publish Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia Chapter 326 manga on Sunday, 12th September. The mangaka has opted for a break from work citing health issues. However, it is confirmed that the break is only for a week and the next chapter will publish in the 42nd issue of Shonen Jump!

MHA Manga fans will be treated with Chapter 326 on Sunday, September 19, 2021. The spoilers and raw scans can be accessed a couple of days ahead of its official release.

It will be released digitally at midnight JST (Japan Standard Time)/9 AM PDT/11 PM CDT/12 PM EDT/5 PM BST. The chapters are available digitally on Viz Media and Manga Plus for free.
