Marvel says The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will come out in August

With the launch of Diney+ streaming service by Disney, we were told that web series based on the MCU would come out shortly. These series include a show about Wanda and Vision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and the much-anticipated series featuring Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Recently, Disney revealed the release date for one of these web series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The six-part series would feature the titular support characters from the Captain America movies, Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon (portrayed by Anthony Mackie), and James “Bucky” Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier (portrayed by Sebastian Stan).

The official description of the show reads, “Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’.”

At present, the exact release date hasn’t been revealed by Disney, but The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will come to Disney+Hotstar/Disney+ exclusively in August. Even though the show is being called a series, it is highly unlikely that there will be a scope of a second season.

As for Wandavision, the show will come by the end of 2020, and Loki is coming out in 2021. However, there might be changes in the release date due to the delays caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
