Recently Jio revealed that its prepaid customers would get access to Disney+Hotstar VIP with a recharge of ₹401. Now, Jio has decided to provide free access to its Jio Fibre customers with access to Amazon Prime subscription worth ₹999 a year.
The customers who use Jio Fibre will get free access to Prime on recharge of the Gold-tier (₹1299) plan or above. This subscription includes Prime Video, a popular streaming service in India that offers amazing shows such as Paatal Lok, Panchaayat, and movies such as Gulabo Sitabo and Subh Mangal Zyada Savdhan. In addition to Prime Video, the customers will also get access to Prime Music.
The existing customers of Jio Fibre can get access to Amazon Prime by singing on to Amazon through their Jio Set-Top-Box. Alternatively, the service can also be activated through MyJio app or via the official Jio website. The service is only for Jio Fibre Gold-tier members and above. This means that Jio Fibre Bronze and Silver members would need to pay ₹999 to get access to one Amazon Prime for one year or ₹129 per month. However, they can get the benefit of this offer by upgrading their plan to Gold-tier or above.
