Google Chrome shows searches based on browsing history in new tab

Google Chrome has experimented with a new feature. It now displays relevant search queries based on your search history on the new tab page. Search queries are shown under the search bar and are based on your search history. The feature is being dubbed as “Searches related to your history”.

You can also choose to disable this if you are not interested in seeing the suggestions. Another thing to observe here is that Google doesn’t always show related queries. These queries are either triggered for only a few specific keywords or semantic keywords.

To disable Google Chrome from showing such keywords, all you have to do is click on the three-dots menu next to the keywords, and choose not to display related queries.
