Forza Horizon 5 might include Indian Himalayan region in the map

If we think about racing games with some of the best cars and beautiful locations, Forza instantly comes to our minds. This brilliant game franchise, developed by British studio, Playground games, is probably the most famous racing game on Microsoft Xbox.

Forza is all about the open-world environment, and unlike the fictional locations present in Need for Speed, another popular racing game, the places are real. This use of actual locations adds an immersion level that cannot be paralleled by a fictional world. It is no surprise that the game is so popular among the casual and professional racing game fans.

The gameplay in Forza Horizon is quite similar to the Forza Motorsport, which created by US-based Turn 10 Studios. It doesn’t come as a surprise as the studio helped with the design of Forza Horizon. Xbox Gaming Studios publish the games on the Xbox and PC. The last game, Forza Horizon 4, was released in 2018, and even though no confirmation about Forza Horizon 5 is out yet. Fans have speculated about the game ever since.

forza horizon 5

It is 2020, and each of the Forza Horizon games has been released in a two-year cycle. The first game came out in 2012, the second in 2014, and Forza Horizon 4 in 2018. So, it is natural to expect Forza Horizon 5 in 2020. However, this pattern might be broken as it has been done for Forza Motorsports. The Motorsports titles were released in odd years, but in 2019 there wasn’t an entry in the series.

As for the setting of the game, we speculate that it might take place in Asia as it remains the only place where previous games didn’t take place till now. The online discussions point towards Japan, China, and even India (Himalayan regions) as the setting for the game. There were even leaks on Reddit which show Hong Kong as a location.

As with any other game, the details about Forza Horizon 5 are based on rumors and fan theories. The final game, whenever it arrives, could be totally different. So, I advise you to take this news with a pinch of salt.
