Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Dub on Funimation

Around the Web

Funimation has confirmed that it will be streaming a simulcast version of the anime scheduled to drop in Fall 2021. Check out the tweet below

Though it has not been officially announced, but Funimation will simulcast Season 2 Dub in United States, Ireland, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

English dub is speculated to land its deal with Toonami which should premiere in late 2021/early 2022. Toonami had done a similar deal for the exclusive English dub of anime series Sword Art Online and Promised Neverland. It will take another 6-8 months before one can watch the Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Dub on Funimation.

In other words, one can stare at June/July 2022 window for streaming options. This timeline also fits into the material of the Entertainment District Arc. The Arc has only 30 chapters that will easily fit into 12-13 episodes with the scope limited to Gotouge’s original manga. Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 1 adapted the first 50 chapters approximately.

In a worst case scenario, if Entertainment District Arc stretches to two cours then we’re looking at September 2022 or even the Fall season timeline. But for now, let us wait till any official confirmation comes along.

Fans are praying that Funimation does magic like it did with Attack on Titan where it streamed with only a day’s delay.

Funimation recently streamed Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train which shattered all possible Japanese Box Office Records.
