“Demon Slayer” still hasn’t lost much of the original charm it generated a year ago (4 years for those who read the manga). Studio Ufotable has indeed outdone themselves to gain a massive fan-following who remain loyal despite the hiatus. Even so, the movie released in between Season 1 and Demon Slayer Season 2 still awaits a proper international release. In this article, we’ll be taking a look at the Demon Slayer movie release date in India. There are a couple of additional details too, so stick around and read on.

International Release of “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train The Movie”

The introduction might’ve raised a couple of eyebrows, well the reason is rather simple. While an international release has been made, it’s still restricted to the Australian and North-American continent. We’ve written a comprehensive article giving coverage over its structured release.

Funimation has bagged the rights to the international release and Australia is all set to release via the Hoyts theatre chain. But, that’s old news and of no consequence to us. What we’re interested in is the Demon Slayer movie release date in India, which, if I may, has a growing Anime audience eagerly demanding.

When is Demon Slayer Mugen Train Movie Release Date in India

The last we heard was when PVR Cinemas through their Instagram handle had responded to a query on Where can I watch Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train in India? Their reply was

Hi! We are already in touch with the Distributors for the same and once we have an update on this, we’ll let you know via relevant media. Thanks!

In all probability, the Demon Slayer Movie will get a release in 2021 in India. There are a few reasons and history behind the assumption. Of late India has seen increasing popularity and growing anime fans.

“Weathering With You”(2019) was released in select theaters of metros like SPI, PVR, INOX. The movie made amassed more than $150 million worldwide. The response was stupendous (believe me, I’ve been there). Theatres were choke-full of excited fans and newly-initiated amateurs.

Demon Slayer Movie has collected a whopping $388 million in Japan, breaking box office records before its global release. It has turned out to be the 4th highest-grossing film of 2020. Keeping in mind the growing Anime community, 2021 should see Demon Slayer movie release date in India. Hoping pandemic conditions do not force theaters to shut down.

While the rest of us kept clamoring and complaining a bunch of proactive individuals decided to make use of the community’s growing influence. Given the success of our first attempt, it would seem worthwhile to do it again (insert meme). If you’d like to do your part in helping the film reach Indian shores, head over here.

Demon Slayer Movie English Dub release date

The initial run time of the film was fixated at somewhere around 1hr 50 minutes. Though there have been mentions that extended credits due to the translators have been included in the international version. Rumors suggest a total runtime somewhere south of 2 hours.

Now, most of you would know that the “Demon Slayer” series belongs to the shonen genre. While much of the show adopts humor in place of seriousness, there still is a sizable amount of gore. This effect has been translated over to the Mugen Train movie as well. As a result, an R rating has been put in place.

“Demon Slayer” Season 2 is set to release sometime soon. Expectations are piling upon its release for sometime in late 2021. We’ve covered an extensive bit of that segment so be sure to visit it down here.

It isn’t much of a surprise when a really popular anime show gets a video-game adaptation. One Piece and Naruto have had their standalone games on all platforms. Demon Slayer decided to jump aboard the bandwagon with the release of, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Kepputan. Much of the information concerning it is still under wraps. But, screenshots and trailers suggest a possible single-player and versus mode. Since we don’t have to offer anything on the subject, here’s a minute’s trailer featuring lonely Giyuu.

That’s pretty much all there is on our end. Do you think we’ve missed any new details? Do let us know in the comments below. For more similar content visit us here.
