CyberPunk 2077 will be one of the best looking games on PC. What if someone doesn’t have a powerful enough PC to run the game at the highest settings? How can they enjoy the game in all its glory? The answer is Nvidia GeForce Now.
From the first day of its expected release in September 2020, CyberPunk 2077 would be available on GeForce Now and run with RTX on even on a potato PC.
Nvidia has confirmed that the availability of CyberPunk 2077 on GeForce Now and it supporting RTX are true. And for those of you who want to play the game directly on your PC and have no reason not to spend on a graphics card for the same, Nvidia is launching a special CyberPunk 2077 themed graphics card.
Although we don’t have any official system requirements from CD Projekt, it can be assumed you would need the top of the line specs to run the game at highest settings.
If you are unaware of GeForce Now, then it is a game streaming service offered by Nvidia. By subscribing to this service, you get access to multiple games that can be streamed to your device. It works by running the games on a cloud-based platform which provides each individual with top of the line performance. As per Nvidia’s claim, the cloud platform runs the games on Intel Xeon E5-2697 12-core 24-thread CPU paired with Nvidia Nvidia Tesla P40 GPU. This system delivers performance similar to a GTX 1080 and is capable of streaming games at Full HD resolution at 120 FPS or 4K at 60 FPS.
The founders’ membership of GeForce Now allows you to play the game without any need to purchase it separately. A normal membership lets you connect your Steam profile to stream the games.
The founders’ membership is available for $60 per year, and it removes the need for any gaming PC or console. All you need is an internet connection and a basic PC to stream the game.
As for CyberPunk 2077, it will be coming out on 17th September on PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Google Stadia. The versions for the next generation of the console would be available in the holiday season 2020.
