While the teams have been fighting for their points from 24th January, the Championship Tournament will be held in August 2020. A prize pool of Sixty Million Dollars is up for the grabs, and here is how the league is set to be.
Layout and Matchups:
The layout of Call of Duty League has changed. Earlier it was among eight teams, while this time, it includes 12 teams. Home Series victories now have more importance, and the League Standings will decide the team’s starting position in the final tournament. Thus, teams are meant to be cautious from the start.
- 1st Position – $ 2,000,000
- 2nd Position – $ 1,000,000
- 3rd Position – $ 500,000
- 4th Position – $ 300,000
- 5th and 6th Position – $ 200,000
- 7th and 8th Position – $ 125,000
- 9th and 10th Position – $ 75,000
The last two teams, viz. the teams that get 11th and 12th positions, will leave empty-handed.
How to Watch the Call of Duty League?
You can watch the Call of Duty League on the CDL Website or the Call of Duty Companion app. You can also get rewarded with some fantastic in-game content by just watching the league. All you need to do is to connect your Activision account while you watch, on the COD Companion app, or the CDL Website.
