In order to increase its customer base BSNL, the state-owned huge telecom Service Company is now giving free subscriptions to certain streaming services with its broadband plans as a bonus. The state-owned telecom operator earlier this year had started offering Amazon Prime Membership worth Rs.999 to certain selected Bharat Fibre customers. This step was undertaken by the company to increase the growth of the company in the country.
The state-owned telecom operator BSNL has come up with yet another strategy to increase its customer base. BSNL has announced a new broadband plan named as Super 300. The plan comes with free Hotstar subscription for the customers. Customers who subscribe to the super 300 plan of BSNL will now have free access to Hotstar’s portfolio of originals, live sports, TV shows, and movies.
The Super 300 broadband plan of BSNL is priced at Rs. 749 which offers 300 GB of high-speed internet to the users at 50 Mbps per month. The main highlight of the Super 300 broadband plan of BSNL is the Hotstar subscription. Hotstar is now live streaming the ICC cricket World cup because of which is it is now attracting a huge number of viewers and subscribers.
With the launch of the Super 300 broadband plan, BSNL has announced that all the subscribers of the Super 300 plan will be given Hotstar Premium membership at free of cost that will be available in all telecom services across the country. In the month of January this year, BSNL had offered free Amazon Prime membership for one year to its Bharat Fibre customers. Along with BSNL, Airtel too had adopted a similar approach to increase its customer base by giving free access to Netflix, Zee 5 on selected postpaid and broadband plans.
