Apple Expanded the Apple Teacher Program to Indian Educators

Apple recently announced in its Apple Education Twitter handle that it has finally opened the gate to Indian educators to become a part of the Apple Teacher community.

Apple Teacher is an official program from the U.S. based tech company to provide a platform for teachers to share their knowledge with the world free of cost and giving them a platform to contribute to the betterment of teaching.

The teachers can sign-up for the Apple Teacher program using their Apple ID by visiting the official website of the company. After signing up, users can select the course that they are adept at and take help from the Apple Teacher learning centre to create customized teaching materials that can be accessed from anywhere in the world using iPads and Macs.

In order to make the online teaching materials most effective, Apple is granting free access to all the necessary tools such as Pages, Keynote, Numbers, GarageBand, and iMovie over iPads and Macs for the users.

The company is also giving users an opportunity to learn different techniques of the Apple products to teach using 75 skill-building lessons and tutorials that come with these built-in tools. The techniques include doing multitasking, taking notes, using accessibility features, and taking a picture on an iPad.

To gain credibility over the platform, the teachers can get badges by undertaking different tests in the learning centre or win an official Apple Teacher logo that can be shared across the world through social media.
