Apple Music has once again confirmed the offer of free Apple TV+ with Apple Music for students. The news was revealed on the official twitter handle. Apple launched the same plan at the end of October 2019 for a limited time.

Apple Music has kicked in the new year with the offer of bundling of Apple Music Student Plan and Apple TV+. Apple Music Student Plan will be available at a discounted rate of $4.99 whereas a normal Apple Music‌ subscription costs $9.99/month. A student subscriber to Apple music can avail a discount of $5 and get a bonus subscription to Apple TV+ which makes it worth every penny.

The offer is available to new subscriber students and also by the ones who were existing members of the music plan before Apple TV+ came to existence. In case you are no longer a student the offer will become invalid. To verify student profiles, Apple has tied up with a student validation service UNiDAYS which runs a validation check.

Students enrolled in degree-granting universities and colleges can join Apple Music at a discounted monthly rate for up to 48 months. And if you have an Apple Music student subscription, watch Apple Originals with Apple TV+ for free for a limited time.

Apple Support

Subscription to Apple Music gives access to more than 50 million songs that can be played uninterrupted and ad-free. Also, it allows you to stream/download for offline play. Apple Music Student Plan coupled with Apple TV+ is available only in those countries which support Apple TV+. The Plan was launched on similar lines to the students’ plan from rival streaming services Spotify and Hulu.

It is yet to see how long Apple gives this offer at a discounted price. It may happen in the future that Apple may withdraw the free subscription to Apple TV+ or may increase the price once new plans are introduced.
